BRICK PAVER

POWERWASHING

Preparation: We start by preparing the area by removing any furniture, plants, or objects on or near the brick pavers.

Testing: Before beginning the powerwashing, we test the pressure and spray pattern on a small, inconspicuous area of the brick pavers to ensure that the pressure is appropriate and won't cause any damage.

Powerwashing: Using a high-pressure washer, we thoroughly clean the brick pavers, removing dirt, grime, moss, algae, and other debris.

Detailing: For stubborn stains or heavily soiled areas, we may use specialized cleaning tools or techniques to ensure a thorough cleaning.

BRICK PAVER

SANDING

Inspection: After powerwashing, we inspect the brick pavers to determine if any sand has been displaced or washed away during the cleaning process. We also check for any damaged or uneven pavers that may need to be repaired.

Re-sanding: If necessary, which most time during Powerwashing most of the sand is removed in the process, we evenly distribute polymeric sand over the surface of the brick pavers. Polymeric sand is a mixture of fine sand and binding agents that helps to stabilize the pavers and help prevent weed growth between the joints.

Brushing in sand: We use a broom or brush to sweep the polymeric sand into the joints between the pavers. Afterward we lightly lead blow off any extra sand.

Lastly we lightly water the sand so the sand and polymeric and harden and cure to make sure those bricks are stabilized and held tight together.

BRICK PAVER

SEALING

Cleaning: Before sealing the bricks, we ensure that the surface is clean and free from any debris, dust, or sand.

Choosing the sealant: We select a suitable sealant based on the type of bricks and the desired finish. There are various types of sealants available.

Applying the sealant: Using a sprayer or roller, we evenly apply the sealant to the brick pavers, ensuring complete coverage. We pay extra attention to the joints between the pavers to seal them properly.

Curing: After applying the sealant, we allow it to dry and cure according to the manufacturer's instructions. This typically involves avoiding foot traffic or any other activities on the sealed surface for 24-48 hours.

By following these steps, we ensure that the brick pavers are thoroughly cleaned, stabilized with sand, and protected with a sealant. This process helps to enhance the appearance of the bricks, prevent weed growth, and extend the lifespan of the pavers.
